BSDHT President was proud to represent dental hygienists and dental therapists along with other passionate colleagues at the Department of Health and Social Care last week.

A small group were invited to speak on behalf of our respective professions in relation to the future of NHS dentistry in England and the proposed contract.

The consultation is open until 19/08/25. Please engage to show them how much this matters to us. Even if you work privately and intend to continue doing so, this is still an important consultation for all.

The BSDHT are committed to working with stakeholders to develop a contract fit for all. This is an opportunity to be recognised for the work we currently do and will do in the future.

Look out for a short survey that we intend to share with DHSC where we ask you about what you hope for and what barriers exist that prevent you working for the NHS.
