Clare has an extensive portfolio in dental nursing and is currently a dental nurse matron at Birmingham Dental School. Prior to this, she was the principal dental nurse at The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust and the lead dental nurse lecturer at Walsall College. Clare has been successful at the undergraduate level with a BA (Hons) in Educational Studies and is a current master's student at Loughborough University.

She has written numerous journal articles over the years and is currently co-leading the Sexual Misconduct at work initiative within the Society. In her spare time, Clare is a runner and raises funds for a charity close to her heart.

Most recently Clare was seen with Tom Whiting, the Chief Executive and Registrar and other GDC members during a visit to Birmingham Dental School. We are grateful for all of the wisdom and support the out-going president Tracy Wallis offered, as we say thanks to her today

" I am privileged to be part of this collective journey and forward-thinking organisation that is flexible and adaptable to the needs of the profession and our members. I express my words of gratitude for your trust, we can only achieve a lasting impact collectively and I hope to continue the work that has already been started and I will continue to forge excellent relationships with like-minded professionals, whilst striving for excellence ...'
